During your visit, you’ll be able to explore the beloved London attraction and join a free walking tour. You’ll also get to walk on the Treetop Walkway above the forest and discover the tropical rainforest climate in the Palm House.

As you stroll through the grounds, you’ll find highlights like the Marianne North Gallery and the Shirley Sherwood Gallery, which displays beautiful botanical art.

- 1–31 March: 10:00–18:00 daily (last admission 17:00)

- 1 April–30 April: daily from 10:00–19:00 (last admission 18:00)

- 1 May–31 August (Monday–Friday): 10:00–19:00 (last admission 18:00)

- 1 May–31 August (Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays): 10:00–20:00 (last admission 19:00)

- 1–30 September: daily from 10:00–19:00 (last admission 18:00)

- 1–28 October: daily from 10:00–18:00 (last admission 17:00)

- 29 October–13 November: daily from 10:00–16:00 (last admission 15:00)

- 14 November–7 January 2024: daily from 10:00–15:00 (last admission 14:00)

- 24 and 25 December: the gardens remain closed

Please note that the operational hours for 2024 are as follows:

- 8 January–31 January: 10:00–16:00 (last admission 15:00)

- 1 February–29 February: 10:00–17:00 (last admission 16:00)

- 1 March–31 March: 10:00–18:00 (last admission 17:00)

Special opening and closing times:

- 1 and 2 April: the gardens will open at 11:00 due to Richmond Run

- 27 July and 10 August: the gardens will close at 16:00 for Summer Cycle

- 11–16 July: the gardens will close at 17:00 for Kew The Music

- 9 and 10 September: the gardens will open at 11:00 due to Richmond Run

- 24 and 25 December: the gardens will be closed

- 3 April 2023–24 September 2023: Kew Palace remains open

A valid student ID is necessary to purchase a reduced-price ticket.

Infants aged 0–3 years can join for free. Please indicate the number of infants at checkout.

Please bring your ticket with you to the attraction.
