On this guided tour, you will witness the famous Changing the Guard Ceremony at Buckingham Palace without standing in long queues outside the gate.

This walking tour will take you through different stages of the famous ceremony like the inspection, Old Guard, New Guard and more. You will also get a chance to march alongside the Guards and Ceremonial Bands. Led by your guide, you will skip the long queues before the gates and be present where the action is happening at the right moment. Your guide will also share anecdotes, history and facts about the ceremony for a complete experience.

  Please note that you will not stand at the Buckingham Palace gates to watch the part of the ceremony happening in the courtyard.

  If the ceremony gets cancelled due to rain, you will watch the Wet Change (guards marching without music).

  Please note that you will need to walk very quickly on this tour and the area can be very crowded.

  The tour can accommodate a maximum of 25 people per group.

  Comfortable footwear suitable for walking is recommended. Please carry a bottle of water with you.

  Since the tour will take place in all weather conditions, wearing weather-appropriate clothing is recommended.

  Children aged 0–3 years can join for free.

  It is at the discretion of The British Army to alter, change or cancel the Guard Change Ceremony.

  Be aware that operators may cancel for unforeseen reasons.
