Open-top Bus Night Tour

The sights of London after dark with facts, stories and tips from an expert guide

For this 1.5-hour tour, you’ll board an open-top bus to see a different side of London by night. You’ll pass an impressive selection of legendary landmarks, with many of them illuminated after dark. You’ll see St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Green Park and the River Thames.

Your route will also take you past the sights of London’s upmarket Southwest, like the Fortnum & Mason and Harrods departments stores, the Natural History Museum and Royal Albert Hall. Along the way, you’ll listen to engaging live commentary from an expert on-board guide.

      From October–March, tours depart at 19:30 and 21:20.

      From April–September, tours depart at 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, 21:15, 21:45 and 22:15.

      Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the tour begins. Tours depart from the bus stop located next to the Ritz Hotel.

      There are no tours on 25 and 31 December.

      Please note that during the summer months, tours may take place in daylight due to the late sunset.

      Please note that audio guide serves are not available until further notice. Tours will be conducted with a live English-speaking guide instead.

      Please note that seats on the upper deck are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

      The "See London By Night" Tour has been especially designed to show you the very best of London's famous landmarks, all beautifully lit up in the night sky. Tours are fully guided (in English) and depart from our bus stop on Piccadilly, next to the Ritz Hotel by Green Park underground station. There will be an option to use an audio guide in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin and Japanese
