This self-guided walk will allow you to explore 2,000 years of London's history.

Using a downloadable audio guide, you’ll embark on a stroll to see some of the city's historical sites, including Guildhall and the London Stone – a block of oolitic limestone believed to have originated from Ancient Rome. The tour will also take you to the medieval London Bridge and the Tower of London, founded in the 11th century.

As you visit each site, you’ll have an opportunity to listen to valuable commentary presented by a local history teacher.

    The medieval London Bridge was built in 1176 and took 33 years and an enormous amount of money to build. The bridge was 8 meters wide, and between 240-270 meters long, and boasted 19 arches of different sizes.

    The Tower of London is one of London's most iconic and significant historical sites. During Shakespeare's day, most Londoners thought that the Tower of London was built by Julius Caesar. That turned out to be wishful thinking on the part of the English.
